Major streaming platform Youku has officially announced plans for a sequel to the hit contemporary drama The Early Spring (早春晴朗, Zaochun Qinglang) as part of its 2027 content lineup. The follow-up is titled Shengxia Qinglang (盛夏晴朗), and screenwriter Gao Xiaoxian (高小娴) is reported to be returning.
