C Drama.Fans (cdrama.fans) is a publication about Chinese drama. This page says what information the site collects about you and why. The short version: we collect very little, and we do not sell it.
Reading the site
The site is hosted on Vercel, whose servers log requests (your IP address, browser type, the pages requested) as is standard for any web server. We use Vercel Analytics, which counts page views and visitors in aggregate without cookies or persistent identifiers.
Newsletter
If you subscribe, your email address is stored by Buttondown, the service that sends the newsletter, and used only to send it. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing deletes you from the list.
Embedded content and links
Articles may embed videos from YouTube and link to other sites, including streaming platforms, shops and social networks. Those sites have their own privacy policies and may set their own cookies when you interact with the embedded content or follow a link.
Advertising and affiliate links
The site may show advertising served by third-party networks such as Google AdSense, which may use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalised advertising in your Google ad settings. Some links to shops and streaming services are affiliate links; the retailer may set a cookie to record that the visit came from here. We receive no personal information from either.
What we do not do
We do not run accounts, profiles or comment systems on the site, do not sell or share reader data, and do not use it for anything other than running the site.

You can ask what we hold about you, or ask for it to be deleted, by emailing hello@cdrama.fans. Changes to this policy are posted on this page with a new date.
