Love of Nirvana

Xiao Wuxia (萧无瑕) is the young lord of Yueluo (月落) City. For years he has lived in the neighbouring kingdom of Liang (梁) under the name Wei Zhao (卫昭), bearing the reputation of a treacherous courtier while he works to learn the truth about what happened to his family. His plan is to seize the only survivor of the case of Prince Qi (齐王).

The plan is wrecked by Jiang Ci (江慈), a young woman who appears out of nowhere and cuts across it. She is badly hurt, and Pei Yan (裴琰) takes her into his household in order to find out who was behind the disruption. From there the three are pulled into each other's lives: Wei Zhao with his tragic past and his sense of duty to his people, Pei Yan with his own aims, and Jiang Ci, whose openness gets through to both men.

When the production wrapped in November 2023, the official message was "青山隐隐，流水迢迢", roughly "green hills faint, flowing water far".

The story is set in two neighbouring states, Liang and Yueluo. It is adapted from the novel of the same name by Xiao Lou (箫楼), who also co-wrote the script, with Li Na (李娜) and Zhang Yang (张杨). The directors are Zhou Jingtao (周靖韬), Qi Xiaohui (綦晓卉) and Liang Baoquan (梁宝全). According to Beijing News, filming was announced as finished on November 24, 2023; the paper described the drama as a wuxia costume romance about family, country, love and hate.
