October 2026 Chinese Drama Lineup Features Shadow Punisher and The Vanishing Beauty

The October 2026 streaming calendar brings a fresh wave of Chinese television releases, headlined by period mystery Shadow Punisher (魅影神捕) and urban marriage drama The Vanishing Beauty.

Premiering on iQIYI on October 2, 2026, Shadow Punisher centers on the Divine Constable Bureau as investigators tackle a series of complex historical cases. The series stars Luo Yunxi (罗云熙) in the lead role of Li Si, blending traditional martial arts investigations with imperial-era mystery elements.

Joining the autumn release slate is The Vanishing Beauty (美人余), a 28-episode urban drama that began on Tencent Video on October 9 and airs on Dragon TV (东方卫视) from October 10. Li Yitong (李一桐) stars as Yu Meng, who discovers on her fifth wedding anniversary that her husband and the family's housekeeper have been working together to seize the family's assets, and then gathers evidence to fight back, which adds a contemporary marriage drama to the month's viewing options. Major streaming platforms continue to roll out diverse genre offerings for international audiences throughout the autumn season, spanning historical investigations and suspense narratives.
