zhuījù rìlì · 'binge calendar': a platform's poster of which episodes drop on which days
A zhuiju rili is the update schedule a streaming platform posts for a series, usually a poster for each week showing which episodes come out on which day and which are for members only. Chinese platforms release episodes on irregular rhythms, with extra episodes for members and different counts on different days, so viewers rely on the calendar to know when to watch. Fans share and argue over it when a schedule changes. Youku publishes one each week for Where the Mask Ends, which aired in the same season as Tigers Sniff the Rose.

A Weibo hashtag read Youku's one-a-day calendar for Where the Mask Ends as a duel with Tencent's Tigers Sniff the Rose. The calendars, CCTV-8's own listings and the comment sections show a premium tier losing its lead over the TV channel, and two earlier disputes over release pace show the grievance is older than either show.
