FEUD

At the start of the world, a primordial god's divine energy produced two powerful beings, Hua Ruyue (花如月) and Bai Jiusi (白九思). They became rivals. Four hundred years later, Li Qingyue (李青月), a disciple of the Jingyun Sect (净云宗) with very little spiritual power, becomes entangled with Bai Jiusi, the Heavenly Lord Dacheng (大成), and marries him.

In the Nine Heavens she finds that her life is repeatedly in danger, and that she looks exactly like Hua Ruyue, Bai Jiusi's first wife. He suspects she is Hua Ruyue in disguise, and tests her again and again. The early episodes are built around that suspicion.

The series is a xianxia fantasy set among immortal sects, a heavenly realm and the mortal world below it. Its working title was Heng Men You Hu (衡门有狐, "there is a fox in Hengmen"); it was released as Lin Jiang Xian, which is also the name of an old ci (词) poetry tune pattern.

Filming began at Hengdian World Studios on April 8, 2024, and wrapped on August 6 of that year. It premiered on iQIYI on June 6, 2025 and finished its run of 32 episodes later that month.

On reception, The Paper (澎湃) reported that the drama's heat value on iQIYI passed 9,000 on its second day, though its reviewer found the first episode's look dated and the heroine's fall for the hero too quick. Yangzi Evening News (扬子晚报) later reported that the heat value passed 10,000, that the series topped several viewership charts, and that danmaku (弹幕, "bullet comments" scrolling over the video) interactions passed 100 million within nine days.
